# How to automatically enable NiFi controller services after restart

Hi CogStack team,

After restarting NiFi (for example, after a server restart), the Controller Services (for example to connect to database) are disabled, and have to be enabled manually. Do you know if there’s a way to automatically enable them?

Hello Sander,

This is indeed an issue that sometimes still appears, what version of NiFi are you currently using ? I couldn’t not notice such behaviour on the latest unless I abruptly deleted the container, or if there is an attempt to change the NiFi image (with a different version of it).

Hi Vlad,

We’re still a bit behind, on NiFi 1.15.3. Okay, good to know what your experiences are with the latest NiFi. We’ll check if the issue goes away when we upgrade.
