# MedCat cat.get\_entities\_multitexts hangs

Setting n\_process \> 1 will cause it to hang.

I’m passing a dataframe with textual obs in the column.

The problem is on different versions of medcat and different machines/environments.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply,

on the latest stable pip installed about 14 days from this message in a clean environment.

Also there is a progress bar shown with n\_process =1 but none without.

“cat.get\_entities\_multitexts” also appears to work where no processors or batch sizes are passed.
