Model download links broken — "Application Not Authorized" and "Bad Gateway" (502)

Hi all,

I’m trying to download a pre-built MedCAT model pack (SNOMED / UMLS) using my UMLS licence, but both download links in the GitHub README appear to be broken:

  1. The interactive login link ( UMLS Metathesaurus Browser https://medcat.sites.er.kcl.ac.uk/auth-callback) returns: “Application Not Authorized to Use UTS Login Service” — suggesting the application is no longer registered/authorised with the NLM UTS login service.

  2. The API-key-based link also returns a 502 Bad Gateway, so the server itself seems to be down.

My UMLS licence is approved and I can sign into UTS and generate an API key without any problem, so the issue seems to be on the KCL/MedCAT download service side rather than my account.

Could anyone confirm:

  • Is the KCL model-download service currently down, or has it moved?
  • What is the current recommended route to download the pre-built SNOMED CT / UMLS model packs for MedCAT v2 (I’m on medcat 2.8.6)?

The downloading service was indeed down for some reason. I’ve now restarted it and confirmed it’s up and running.

Thank you! that’s working perfectly now. I was able to sign in, the licence verified via my API key, and I’ve reached the model download form and selected the model I need. Much appreciated for the quick restart.
