Using MedCAT Trainer without internet access

Hi, I am building a MedCAT pipeline in a safe e-research environment that blocks any access to the internet.

Is there any way I can use the MedCAT trainer in an enclosed environment? My understanding is that it requires internet access to run properly. Otherwise, how can I mimic the supervised training step?

Hi!

There is no general requirement for MedCATtrainer to have internet access when it’s running.

So if you can get the image to your environment along with the compose file you should be able to run it just fine.

If there are issues, don’t hesitate to point them out.
