MedCAT is light enough to be run anywhere and on any machine. I’ve run it on my mac book and it is easy enough to use.
What has it “successfully” been used for… Depends…
Most academics use the tool to extract SNOMED concepts from medical data to map patient health outcomes, determine disease patterns, predict health trajectories etc…
I follow the academic use cases through following the citations from the original MedCAT paper:
The uses of MedCAT that are never published. Commercial products etc…
Is there even a point of contact(s) to discuss/form new partnerships or collaborate with the direct MedCAT team?
